Mental Health First Connects (MHFC) is committed to connecting individuals and communities with accessible mental health resources and support.

Our mental health & wellness mission for Southeastern PA, is to decrease the stigma, break the silence, normalize mental wellness, provide mental health education, and increase a sustainable level of mental wellness in Black, Brown and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) hotspot communities that have been disproportionately impacted by historical racial trauma, ongoing racial inequities, systemic racism and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our goal is to facilitate access to mental health and well-being, promote awareness, and dismantle barriers to mental health care.


Key Responsibilities:

Office Management:


  • Establish and maintain a meticulously organized and efficient office environment.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events with precision and attention to detail.

Document Management:


  • Assist in creating, refining, and formatting documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Oversee and manage electronic and physical filing systems with diligence and accuracy.

Support Program Initiatives:


  • Collaborate closely with the SPO to facilitate the implementation of mental health resource initiatives.
  • Provide valuable support in coordinating events, workshops, and outreach programs to maximize impact.

Database Management:


  • Ensure the meticulous maintenance and regular updating of donor databases, guaranteeing the accuracy and currency of information.
  • Assist in the diligent entry and maintenance of records for program participants.

Communication and Correspondence:


  • Craft and meticulously proofread various forms of correspondence, reports, and written materials.
  • Manage communication channels adeptly, ensuring prompt and professional responses to inquiries.

Collaboration and Team Support:


  • Foster a culture of collaboration by providing comprehensive administrative support across diverse projects.
  • Assist in seamlessly coordinating team meetings and activities to promote synergy and efficiency.

Qualifications:


  • Demonstrable experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role, showcasing a track record of excellence.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
  • Knowledge or a genuine interest in mental health issues is considered a distinct advantage.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

  • Philadelphia, PA 19118: Relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location:
Hybrid remote in Philadelphia, PA 19118
