    Description

    JOB: Core Lab Technician at School of Medicine, Genetics, Molecular Med

    COMPANY: Leading medical campus providing cutting-edge genetic analysis services

    • Operates state-of-the-art genetic analysis instruments to provide experimental data
    • Extracts DNA/RNA from various tissues, primarily blood, for genetic analysis
    • Performs quantitation, quality control, and genotyping reactions
    • Logs, tracks samples using barcode and network databases
    • Conducts pilot work for new projects and assay design
    • Maintains laboratory equipment, workspace, and automated DNA genotyping equipment
    • Utilizes robotic liquid handling stations and high-throughput thermal cyclers
    • Performs sample preparation and data analysis

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience
