MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANOverview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, and collaborating with other team members to solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performanceDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in a timely mannerConduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactivelyInstall new equipment and machinery, following manufacturer's instructions and safety protocolsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment performanceFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area to ensure a safe working environmentCollaborate with other team members to solve complex issues and improve maintenance processesStay updated on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve skills and knowledge

Required Qualifications:2+ year of experience maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting hydraulic or injection molding equipmentPLC troubleshooting experienceStrong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systemsAbility to read electrical and hydraulic blueprintsExperience with automated equipment a plusExperience with controls, servo motors, vision systems, or robotic systems highly desiredFabrication or welding experience a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree a plusLocation:Cumming, GASalary:$38.73/hrAt GAF Materials Corporation, we foster a collaborative work environment where teamwork and communication are highly valued.
