For over 135 years, we have been manufacturing universal cables with a wide range of applications at our location in Roth.

Our extensive production program includes the manufacturing of cables for energy, telecommunications, and transportation networks.

Our IT department is looking for a

Specialist in Application Development (m/f/d)

to strengthen our team at our location in Roth near Nuremberg.


Your responsibilities:
Supporting departments in the use of application systems based on MS Windows 10/11
System administration tasks such as maintenance of our IBM iSeries, VMware VMs such as Windows Server 2019 and Debian Linux, and monitoring our backup solution
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Coordinating external software and hardware services
Developing and implementing in-house software solutions, including backend and frontend development using modern web technologies such as NodeJS (Deno) in Typescript and SQL for database access
Participating in IT projects such as the implementation of a document management system


Your profile:
Completed training as a specialist in application development (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
Ideally, professional experience in a production company
Very confident in working with client/server, hardware and software, Microsoft products, and networks
Software development skills in HTML/CSS/Java-
