    How you'll make an impactAs a Software Engineer III, your expertise will be pivotal in our mission. You will maintain and upgrade our web portals, create new experiences, and ensure component efficiency and consistency.

    You'll have an immediate impact by shaping architecture, actively participating in design sessions, and keeping us up-to-date with evolving technologies.

    Working alongside our cross-functional team, you'll ensure on-schedule delivery of top-notch products, cementing our position at the forefront of innovation.

    Success looks like

    Writes maintainable code and tests.

    Provides helpful, timely code reviews. Consistently follows best practices, able to defend technical decisions in code review feedback.

    Contributes to technical design, and thinks through failure cases.

    Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to deliver a solid product

    Lead specific team projects independently and in collaboration with other leads

    Accountable, end-to end- through planning, deploy, maintenance, and monitoring, proactive potential issues

    What you'll do

    Develop features and improvements that make our product more meaningful to end users

    Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, interactive environment

    Craft high quality code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices.

    Maintain and advocate these standards through code review

    Consistently ship features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects

    Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement

    What you'll bring with youRequired Experience

    4+ years

    software development experience

    Knowledge of Ruby on Rails and Postgres SQL

    Ability to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough, iterative solutions

    Proven ability to work closely with other Engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

    Preferred Experience

    Experience working with Angular

    Experience working in AWS

    Experience with PostGRES, SQL and data analysis

    Rapid experimentation such as A/B testing, feature flags, etc.

    Our Benefits

    The anticipated salary range for this role is $114,000- $135,000. This role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive plan.

    Actual title and compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
