    JOB TITLE: BACB Supervisor/BCBA Position at KAS

    The BACB Supervisor/BCBA role involves the application of Applied Behavior Analysis principles to enhance meaningful behaviors for individuals on the Autism Spectrum. This position entails providing BCBA supervision to BTs delivering ABA therapy, conducting parent training, and managing cases. Additionally, the role includes offering BACB supervision to students aspiring to become certified BCBAs, adhering to the BACB standards and code of ethics. The position necessitates clinical, leadership, and organizational behavior management capabilities.

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - BCBA Related:

    • Offer clinical supervision, establish goals, provide feedback, and address disciplinary actions for BACB Supervisee candidates
    • Ensure accurate recording of hours for each EM/BACB Supervisee within SharePoint systems
    • Thoroughly complete all documentation within each candidate's folder
    • Follow BACB Supervision Manual policies and protocols
    • Stay informed about new guidelines and standards in the field for implementation in daily supervision practices
    • Manage a caseload of clients independently, including supervision hours, BT support/training, parent management, and assessments
    • Act as a bridge between the Supervising BCBA & BT
    • Communicate professionally with KAS team members & external entities
    • Conduct various assessments to determine client needs
    • Effectively communicate with co-workers, providers, supervisors, and supervisees
    • Understand insurance company requirements
    • Propose clinical enhancements in collaboration with the Director of BACB Supervision
    • Assist in developing new clinical initiatives

    BACB Supervisor Related:

    • Provide BACB supervision per the latest BACB Task List, maintain documentation as per BACB standards, and uphold Key documentation for BACB supervision according to company standards
    • Participate in supervision meetings with department head(s) to address program needs
    • Contribute to monthly group supervision for BCBA candidates
    • Aid in the ongoing development of the supervision program curriculum
    • Attend career fairs and engage with educational institutions to promote BCBA certification

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Maintain BCBA certification
    • Stay updated with BACB supervisor CEUs
    • Hold LABA or other state licensure
    • Attain and retain Safety Care Specialist status

      This is a full-time position, potentially requiring weekend availability. Flexibility is essential as BCBA certificate students might need evening and weekend schedule modifications.
