Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit the hiring of fleet drivers using the company's recruiting platforms and tools.
- Work with General Manager and Owner to retain existing fleet drivers.
- Learn about our company's programs and services.
- Create daily Excel reports regarding daily recruiting activities.
- Develop a retention program to retain existing fleet drivers.
- Arrange travel, accommodations, and drug tests for all newly hired drivers.
- Conduct orientation for newly hired drivers.
- Explain all company policies, benefits programs, and 401k plans to all drivers.
- Assist the General Manager or Owner with other job responsibilities as requested.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the transportation and trucking business is preferred.
- Strong electronic filing, documentation tracking, and organizational skills.
- Selfmotivated and driven problem solver with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual, Spanish required.
- Authorized to work in the US, ability to pass drug and background checks.
