Our client in the biotechnology space is looking for a
Technical Writer to join their dynamic team
Responsibilities:
- Write clear, concise, and comprehensive technical articles, reports, brochures, manuals, and related documentation materials for a wide range of uses.
- Coordinate the display of graphics and other visual elements to enhance document readability and appeal.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to formatting standards across all documents produced.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, such as engineering, marketing, and design departments, to ensure effective communication and documentation.
- Analyze user feedback and requirements to identify areas for improvement in existing documentation materials.
- Establish and maintain a thorough understanding of the industry's concepts, practices, and procedures to develop wellinformed and relevant technical content.
- Lead or direct the work of other team members, providing guidance, mentorship, and support as needed.
- Regularly update and revise existing documentation materials to reflect changes in technology, standards, and user needs.
- Conduct research and stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to technical writing and documentation.
- Work within tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy in all work products.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Journalism, English, or a related field, OR equivalent experience with a minimum of 6 years in a technical writing role.
- Proficiency with documentation tools and graphic presentation software.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex technical information to nontechnical audiences.
- Experience in creating and managing documentation for industries such as manufacturing, engineering, or technology.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or direct teams with a focus on mentorship and development.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- A proactive learner with a keen interest in staying informed about technological advancements and industry best practices.
