Acknowledge and celebrate the impact of donor support through best practice acknowledgement, stewardship, and recognition activities; engage donors and prospective donors in philanthropic opportunities through support of sustained giving initiatives, including direct mail, grateful patient, Giving Tuesday and Associate Month of Giving; support Foundation programs and events.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITES
- Implement donor recognition and appreciation initiatives in collaboration with Manager of Donor Relations and Stewardship.
- Identify potential stewardship and recognition opportunities that create a meaningful donor experience and increase donor retention.
- Coordinate Grateful Patient and Families Program including pin presentations to honored associates and providers across IDN.
- Update and maintain donor recognition lists and physical recognition walls per department schedule.
- Participate in periodic responsibility for Donor Relations care coordination line (24/7)
- Provide support to Program and Event Specialist, for internal and external events as needed.
- Serve as back-up/support in processing of gifts.
- Log all donor contacts and update donor records as appropriate in Foundation donor database.
- Work collaboratively with other departments in IDN to provide a positive customer/patient/donor experience.
- Adhere to all Foundation policies and procedures. Actively participate in maintaining and promoting positive team culture within department.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Associate Degree or other postsecondary education in related field; or in lieu of degree will accept work experience stated within.
- Work Experience: Two years' experience in customerfacing role.
- Licensure: None required
- Certification: None required
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Microsoft Office products and software related to function
- Communications oral, written, auditory; public speaking

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Non-Profit, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Work Experience: Prior fundraising, donor relations, business development experience
- Licensure: None required
- Certification: CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive)
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar CRM
- Donor portfolio management
- Grateful Patient program
- Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, stooping
- Long periods of computer time or at workstation
- Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
- May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Visual acuity and handeye coordination to perform tasks
- Workspace may vary from open to confined, on site or remote
- May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle
