Your tasks

You will set up Oracle databases in various operating systems, administer them, and ensure their maintenance and upkeep
You will advise and support the system and application development team on database technology and operations
You will take care of the management of Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control / Cloud Control and Oracle RMAN
You will also develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
You will be responsible for the maintenance, development, and developer support of PL*SQL source code
You will also manage and tune applications at the database level for performance issues
You will plan and implement migration strategies and perform installation and administration tasks on Linux servers

Your profile

You have a degree in computer science and relevant professional experience in database administration
You have knowledge in Oracle Apex and relevant experience in managing Oracle databases in production environments
You have excellent knowledge of SQL and PL*SQL as well as Oracle performance tuning
You hold an OCA
