Qualifications:


  • Strong computer skills, including data entry and record keeping
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Knowledge of phone systems: Tigerconnect and ability to handle high call volumes
- valid Driver's License and auto insurance


Responsibilities:


  • The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for managing the intake process for new patients, ensuring accurate and timely completion of paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients, providers, and insurance companies
  • Accepts referrals and ensure proper documents are obtained
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with other departments as neededMaintain accurate and uptodate patient records in HospiceMD
  • Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and retrieval
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
  • Collaborate with the billing department to resolve any insurance or payment issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or questions
