Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills, including data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
- Knowledge of phone systems: Tigerconnect and ability to handle high call volumes
Responsibilities:
- The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for managing the intake process for new patients, ensuring accurate and timely completion of paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients, providers, and insurance companies
- Accepts referrals and ensure proper documents are obtained
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with other departments as neededMaintain accurate and uptodate patient records in HospiceMD
- Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and retrieval
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with the billing department to resolve any insurance or payment issues
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or questions
