    Job Description

    Cox Automotive, a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises, is looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with product and engineering stakeholders to develop and coordinate integration test strategy and test plans across various program implementations. Here's a snapshot of what the role entails:
    • Define and report test metrics and traceability.
    • Drive defect resolution with the product and development teams for issues impacting integration and end-to-end testing.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with quick adaptation to new technologies and methodologies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand complex interactions between systems.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and at least 4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 7+ years' experience in Software Quality Assurance, either manual or automation.
    • Excellent Communication skills; demonstrates clear written and verbal communication with various stakeholders.
    • Experience in test verification with SQL tools and hands-on experience with Postman, Rally.
    • Exposure to backend services/microservices testing and monitoring and alerting tools like NewRelic, Splunk is a plus.

    Drug Testing

    Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test to be considered for this role. Cox Automotive maintains a drug-free workplace environment but does not perform pre-employment drug tests for marijuana. However, the use of illegal drugs during work hours or on company premises is strictly prohibited.
