The EVS Specialist will manage multiple accounts in the assigned area, provide leadership, support, and guidance to meet housekeeping and laundry quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations.

• Ensures that all required inservices are provided and documented for each employee in the area of responsibility.
• Maintains accurate records of income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Meets with managers regularly to coach and provide performance feedback and assist in managers' professional development.
• Develop good relationships with corporate support departments to facilitate meeting the needs of the area.
• Respond to customer preferences to meet the needs of residents.
• Responsible for compliance with provisions of client contracts and communication of those provisions to the appropriate parties involved in proper implementation.
• Evaluate the quality of services delivered in each facility's area component. Conducts inspections to determine the quality of service provided. Investigates complaints regarding this operation and effect satisfactory solutions.
• Ensures that established safety standards are maintained through training and inservices, as well as visual inspection and review of results with the EVS Manager.
• Ensures employees are issued proper personal protective equipment and that labels and MSDS sheets are correct and accessible.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Two years' experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
• Specialized training in housekeeping and laundry equipment operation is desirable.
• Travel is as required, for account/facility visits and participation in area activities.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.
