Description

The Lebenshilfe Würzburg e.V. is looking for multiple special education teachers for the Christophorus-Schule, starting on (reference number The position is initially limited to the 2024/2025 school year with the option for extension in the 2025/2026 school year and permanent employment.

The Christophorus-Schule serves children and adolescents with special needs, particularly in the area of cognitive development. Currently, the school has approximately 232 students ranging from early intervention to vocational school.

Your responsibilities:

Leading a group in early intervention or
Teaching in our primary, secondary, or vocational school level
Collaborating with special education teachers to develop individualized education plans for students
Preparing and conducting lessons for groups with special educational needs
Working with parents

Our expectations:

A degree in special education, preferably with additional training as a special education teacher or a degree in social pedagogy
Independent and responsible work ethic
Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred
Flexibility
Teamwork skills
