Misinformation Policy Manager Responsibilities:
- Help craft and implement misinformation policies, especially on AI, that take into consideration the needs of a global community.
- Collaborate with Policy, Product, Operations, Communications and External Stakeholders to drive policy improvements.
- Act as a global point of contact for highpriority escalations and manage internal communications for policy issues.
- Help articulate policy philosophy, launches, and changes to relevant parties, including management, operations, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively identify gaps or conflicts in existing policies and develop scalable solutions.
- Build relationships with and understand the perspectives of partners on internal teams, such as Public Policy, Communications, Operations, Product, and Legal.
- Join the centralized Policy oncall roster to help field policy questions on high priority escalations, with an expectation to think critically about complex problems and exercise excellent judgment under time pressure.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in project management, policy development, government, or operations
- Demonstrated analyticalthinking and problemsolving experience
- Experience communicating crossfunctionally, particularly in the area of consensusbuilding and persuasion
- Effective communication
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with international Internet/social media content issues
- Understanding of Meta's products and principles
- Experience working with diverse crossfunctional teams
- Experience to grasp technical details and formulate related policy recommendations
