The Associate Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Management (SSEM) reports directly to the Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Management. This role involves collaborating closely with college leadership to develop, implement, and assess effective enrollment services practices in key areas such as admissions, records, financial aid, testing, career, and transfer.

As the Associate Vice President, you will play a crucial role in enhancing enrollment services practices to support student success across various stages, from entry to completion, transfer, or placement.

Key Responsibilities:

Organize and administer enrollment services functions, including personnel supervision and strategic planning.
Develop, implement, and evaluate strategies to meet institutional enrollment targets.
Research and implement technology solutions.
Manage outbound communication with students regarding important dates and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and oversee the implementation of new programs and services.
Maintain confidentiality and act as the Chief Student Services Officer when needed.
Support college activities and events.
Make sound judgments and carry out assigned duties.

Requirements:

Master's Degree in education-related subjects and at least five years of experience in college administration.
Desired Qualities:

Commitment to the community college's mission.
Knowledge of student services functions and improving student experience.
Effective supervision and motivation skills.
Familiarity with regulatory principles and laws.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications include a Doctorate in education, publication history, and involvement in education-related societies.
