    Position Overview:

    A best-in-class electrical contractor is searching for a motivated Business Development Coordinator. This role combines the use of analytics and relationship building to grow the business. Using data analytics and market analysis, this role will identify potential new customers, qualify opportunities, and expand our customer base in addition to maintaining a positive relationship with existing clients.

    Base Location/Travel Requirements:

    IB Abel is based in York, PA. This position has the flexibility to work from any office and from home or remote locations when appropriate.

    Essential Functions/Duties:

    • Collaborate with VP's and Department Managers to identify revenue and backlog gaps.
    • Provide qualified opportunities that align with needed revenue and backlog by region and department.
    • Using AI and data analytics, conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customers.
    • Develop positive relationships with existing customers.
    • Identify opportunities with existing customers to develop revenue streams for our other lines of businesses.
    • Provide Chief Business Development Officer the analysis for market and customer trends and projected capital investment spending to assist in business planning.
    • Maintain customer data base through CRM management.
    • Assist with RFP responses based on knowledge and expertise.
    • Assist with development and maintenance of marketing materials.
    • Develop and assist or conduct client presentations.

    Education, Skills, Experience:

    Required:

    • Experience in a position focused on development of new business opportunities.
    • Experience in construction-related businesses and industries.

    Desired:

    • Secondary education from an accredited college/university or equivalent combination of education and experience determined appropriate for this role.

    Other:

    • Must be able to present acceptable documents evidencing identity and employment authorizations per the Federal I-9 requirement.
