***:Responsible for the overall supply chain strategy and materials planning efforts for an OMTV commodity group. Own's supplier selection, quoting, supplier performance, cost savings goals as well as planning materials for production.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive the success of the OMTV organization through strategic sourcing.

• Strong metal sourcing and/or electronics sourcing experience a plus.
• Maintain the material planning activities.
• Initiate and maintain good supplier relationships.
• Initiate RFPs, review supplier bids, assist with supplier selection, negotiate and execute supplier contracts.
• Drive critical outsource opportunity decisions.
• Assist with planning and implementing risk mitigation actions.
• Assist with planning and implementing supplier quality strategies.
• Monitor supplier performance KPIs.
• Implementing supply chain strategies.
• Developing a supply base which creates and sustains a competitive advantage and strategically supports manufacturing.
• Deliver and pickup purchased product, samples, etc. when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Able to facilitate and lead teams.

• Requires strong negotiation skills.
• Able to read engineering prints and drive value add discussion with suppliers.
• Requires Material Planning experience.
• Requires the ability to manage supplier relationships and contracts.
• Strong organization, communication and management skills.
• Strong critical thinking, continuous improvement and problemsolving skills.
• Open to supply chain management innovation through implementation of technology or lean methodology.
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
• Thorough working knowledge of purchasing policies, processes and procedures.
• Working knowledge of warehouse and inventory control policies and procedures.
• Winwin attitude that contributes to cocreative relationship with suppliers.
• Works well under pressure and meets deliverables.
• Team player with constructive and respectful attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work quickly and independently with mínimal supervision.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, engineering or supply chain.
• One three years of purchasing/supply chain experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in metals manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP / inventory control systems.

Pay:
From $70,000.00 per year
