The Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of Broadband services being delivered to our customer equipment as well as the installation of new services and growth of existing services as required by customer needs.
Additional responsibilities include directing and supervising the Field Operations Team to ensure the proper maintenance and operations of all equipment, towers, buildings, access road, ground upkeep, HVAC, power equipment, and interconnect facilities as well as Customer equipment.
Interfacing and providing support to all other departments in the organization, daily to ensure network availability, and timely completion of projects.
Identify and report expense and capital budgetary requirements for the field operations team.Ensure the standard of routine maintenance are met such as but not limited to Site PM's, Site Documentation, Company Assets.
In-depth knowledge in all the following areas: wireless/data services, data communications, digital communications, operational systems and applications, voice telecommunications, project management, microwave, and fiber/ethernet backhaul facilities.
~Experience and knowledge in the use of electronic test equipment in an IP network environment is required.~ Experience and knowledge in managing and troubleshooting fiber optic and Microwave transmission facilities.
~ Demonstrated ability for managing employee performance and positive coaching and feedback to co-workers.
~ Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing is required.
~ Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, nights and weekends.
~ Compensation is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
