Job Goal:

To assist bus drivers and special needs students on the special education bus as students are transported safely to and from their schools and activities.

Qualifications:
Must pass a reference check, mandatory fingerprint background check and drug and alcohol testing;
Must have a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent;
Knowledge of educational, behavioral and emotional principles and techniques;
Correct English usage and grammar;
Ability to relate to adults and children of all ages, particularly those with special needs;
Current CPR certification and First Aid Training;
Accepted applicants will be required to successfully complete a 4 hour training program prior to starting work.

Selection Prodedure:
The Transportation Manager and/or designee will review all applications for eligibility.

Candidates selected to move forward in the process will be notified by the Transportation Manager and/or designee and given further instructions.
