Description

The Shipping Clerk performs daily delivery, order fulfillment, packaging, receiving, and shipment duties of component boxes and materials. Conducts scheduling of orders ensures accuracy of packaging products and scans bar codes within the SAP system. Works with other employees and departments to resolve any shipping and receiving matters.

PAY:
$14.50/HR

SHIFT:
9 AM-6 PM

Responsibilities:

*Responsible for the packaging within the shipping system, daily component packaging, and customer customization order filing within the delivery and packing system.
*Schedules orders and ensures accuracy of packaging products; double boxing and palletizing.
*Completes daily inbound receiving of products and packages and notifies recipients accordingly.
*Scans barcodes of shipping modules to the SAP system for record-keeping.
*Coordinates and provides support with employees and/or other departments to resolve shipping and packaging issues and matters.
*Follows up, monitors, and ensures CTO files (Customization to Order project files) and SOP (Standard Operation Procedures) are adhered to.
*Performs and completes any other tasks/projects as assigned.

Requirements:

*Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of warehouse experience.
*Minimum one (1) year of related warehouse experience within the consistent areas of material handling, shipping and receiving, distribution, and/or operations.
*Good understanding of basic/fundamental warehouse shipping and receiving procedures.
*Experience and skill in the SAP system are preferred (i

e:
using a scanner).
*High school diploma or equivalent.
*Ability to perform multiple tasks and work independently.
*Ability to perform within a changing workload and/or priorities and meet order schedules with quality results.
*Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment, and willing to motivate and support others.
*Ability to lift up to thirty (30) pounds.
*Verbal and written communication skills.
*Computer skills are preferred (i

e:
Microsoft Outlook).
*Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Requirements:

*ERP experience

*Overhead Crane a PLUS

*Forklift experience (Reach/sit down)
*Basic reading, writing, and math skills
*Experience in a distribution environment
