Your tasks

Heilerziehungspfleger*innen and Heilerziehungsassistenten*innen accompany and support people of all ages with intellectual, physical, and/or emotional disabilities to strengthen their independence and enable them to lead a self-sufficient life in everyday situations. Essential focuses of their work are participation, education, and care. They work in interdisciplinary teams and with other professionals, such as medical specialists or therapists, and family members.

Heilerziehungspfleger*innen and Heilerziehungsassistenten*innen can expect interesting and varied tasks, where they will get to know many special people and become an important caregiver for someone who needs their help and support. The daily work is diverse and varied.
