We have partnered with our client in the search for a Manager, Contract Compliance.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop standard operating procedures for the department, align them with the Department of Defense (DOD) contract, create reports for senior management, ensure compliance with the contract and processes, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and drive the process forward.

Responsibilities
Ensure corporate compliance with FAR and DFARS requirements for Contractor Business Systems, including developing and implementing Disclosure Statements and ensuring accurate cost recording in the accounting system to meet Government Contract Accounting Compliance standards.
Oversee adherence to Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), the corporate Disclosure Statement, and regulations for the Accounting System, Cost Estimating System, Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS), Purchasing System, and Property Management System.
Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to develop and implement processes for new accounting transactions to meet Government Contract Accounting Compliance requirements, analyze cost accounting data using a Microsoft Excel-based model, and create cost accounting reports for senior management using PeopleSoft Financials and nVision reporting tools.
Lead and coordinate audits of cost accounting records by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and audits of other Business Systems by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent background and experience
Must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation
7+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting or Internal Auditing
3+ years of supervisory experience
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Accounting software preferred
Professional certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) preferred
Knowledge of TRICARE and the Managed Care Support Contract preferred
Experience working with or for the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and/or Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) preferred
