POSITION:
Driver
COMPENSATION:
$15/hour
SHIFT:
5:45am to 2:15pm with a 30 min lunch break
Job Duties:
- Transport school meals to and from our school partners
- Arrive at destinations on schedule
- Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays
- Always interact with clients professionally
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
- Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
- Keep mileage records and repair records up to date
- Load truck based on a packing slip to ensure you have all the meal components
Qualifications / Skills:
- A valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience
- Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients
- Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy bags and objects, as well as be able to load and unload them from their vehicle
Schedule:
Driver will work an 8-hour shift Monday-Friday, starting at 5:45am with a 30-minute lunch break. HLB follows the school schedule, so typically the facility is closed over Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
