Scientific Employee (m/f/d) in the field of Electrical Engineering

We are currently seeking a Scientific Employee (m/f/d) in the field of Electrical Engineering to join our team at Jade University of Applied Sciences Wilhelmshaven/Oldenburg/Elsfleth.

This position is available immediately and is full-time (100%) and permanent, with a salary according to pay grade 11 TV-L (collective agreement for public service employees).

The reference number for this position is MIT 02/24.

Your main tasks will include providing scientific support in teaching and research, as well as general administrative duties.

Teaching support:

This includes selecting and procuring electrical components, building and testing prototypes, developing teaching materials, organizing and conducting tutorials, planning and conducting exercises and assignments, and mentoring students.

Research participation:

You will be involved in the conception, application, implementation, and evaluation of experiments, as well as contributing to final reports and publications.

You will also collaborate with external partners.

Administrative tasks:

This includes managing cost center funds, license management, planning laboratory practicals and excursions, safety checks, and contributing to the development of study programs.

Requirements:

Relevant completed university degree (e.g. Bachelor's or Diploma [FH]) in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Indepth knowledge of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Semiconductor Circuits, and Automation Technology
Enthusiasm for teaching, strong communication skills, teamwork, and a structured work approach
