Position Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Field Sales Manager to grow and support Hatcheri Foods' presence in the greater
NYC Metro area.

In this position, you will be responsible for owning merchandising, increasing sales, and developing top-notch relationships with current and future retail partners within the territory for the Sonoma Gourmet and Fra'Mani brands.

You will also help grow brand awareness through in store activation including gaining secondary locations, putting up brand POS and merchandising materials, selling into new accounts.

Fra' Mani is a creator of delicious food inspired by the flavors, techniques, traditions, and culture of Italy. While we major in salumi, there are some other Italian menu items we make as well.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with key retailers to maximize brand distribution
  • Regularly present new items to customer base
  • Builds display pointofsale in stores as needed
  • Performs food demonstrations with Sonoma Gourmet products at retail locations
  • Develop store level relationships with retail/distributor partners to meet sales goals
  • Monitors customer inventory & merchandise and make order recommendations
  • Maintains a timely and accurate merchandising call schedule and ensure best set merchandising standards at every store you visit

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred or equivalent experience
  • 12 years merchandising and/or sales experience a plus
  • Experience working in a grocery store a plus

Skills

  • Direct merchandising experience a plus
  • Able to work independently and deliver results
  • Highly motivated to sell product and build a career
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products
