We, as an academic teaching hospital of Charité, in cooperation with our partner IN VIA, offer a Voluntary Social Year. You will gain valuable insights into diverse and promising career fields.

Your tasks in the Voluntary Social Year

We will support you on-site with all your tasks and give you the opportunity to get to know the hospital and the daily routine on the wards. You won't get bored with us, that's for sure.

Your tasks in the Voluntary Social Year may include:

  • Assisting the ward with daily tasks under the guidance of healthcare professionals
  • Independently taking on certain tasks after training
  • Assisting with basic care, mobilization, and proper positioning of patients
  • Recording vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, temperature)
  • Accompanying patients to diagnostics and therapies
  • Providing services for patients
