    Responsibilities


    • Collect tax data


    • Will make note and monitor changes in state and local tax laws that may impact the company


    • Recommend changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the indirect tax process for compliance and reporting


    • Proactively monitor and provide support with research related to ongoing indirect tax issues and law changes to ensure that appropriate planning, compliance, and reporting actions are undertaken


    • Proactively engage with other departments to help resolve tax issues and drive the business objectives forward


    • Work with auditors in defense of sales and use tax returns when necessary

    Qualifications:


    • 3+ years of tax experience gained within a public accounting firm or industry


    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required or Finance


    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with team members at all levels of the organization


    • Ability to be hands on and to adapt in a growing environment


    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment
