- Registered nurse with an active state license.
- Minimum of three years of experience in skilled nursing care or a related field.
- Familiarity with state and federal guidelines governing post-acute and long-term care services.
- Make independent decisions when necessary.
- Thorough understanding of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines in the post-acute care setting.
- Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all key areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
- Cultivate professional relationships with associates, vendors, etc.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including harassment and compliance protocols.
- Exhibit integrity and professionalism by following Life Care's Code of Conduct and completing essential compliance training.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive demeanor with patients.
- Assist in patient evacuations when required.
- Ensure regular attendance and reliability.
- Engage in critical thinking, sound judgment, and effective communication within an interdisciplinary team.
- Perform various physical tasks during work hours.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English language skills.
