Arcadia Montessori is looking for an infant assistant teacher who loves working with children. Previous experience is required, as well as patience, and a constantly positive attitude.

Your Role

Your duties will include maintaining a safe and interactive environment, knowing and implementing the individual care plan of each infant, which includes feeding, diapering and napping.

Must be e able to communicate professionally with parents. Input information into iPad for parents. Other duties include, sanitizing classroom materials, doing laundry and keeping the classroom clean and beautiful. We want your input and encourage contributing ideas for arts/crafts. And most importantly, we want you to have fun

Requirements:

Level One Fingerprint clearance card (must obtain prior to start)
Negative TB test (dated within the last 12 months)
CPR/1st Aide Certified (may obtain after employment)
Food Handler's Card (may obtain after employment)
Previous experience with young children

Fine Print

A few requirements to note:

Ability to see and hear clearly 20 yards away.
Ability to provide sustained attention to students at all times.
Ability to stand, kneel, stoop and crouch.
Ability to lift, turn and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to maintain a consistent schedule. The children need you here every day
