Description

We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who can produce quality work as part of our team.

Graphic Designers to create a variety of pieces from simple business cards and forms, to complex annual reports, magazines and catalogs.

Clients also request logo creation, photo editing, marketing collateral, and signage. Our Designers interact directly with customers and our staff.

Responsibilities of a Graphic Designer:
Create designs which appeal to clients, communicate their message in their style and are effective for print production

Create logos and designs from scratch or from existing files

Interact directly with clients in a professional manner offering suggestions to produce as well as improve their visions

Offer ideas for cost-effective design solutions

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and project requirements

Maintain organized files and project documentation

Collaborate with the West Press marketing team to produce print and social media materials

Stay on top of industry trends and software updates

Willing to stay late or come in early to meet client needs as needed

Assist in other departments with large projects when needed

Required Skills:

Graphic Design education from an accredited college or technical school

Minimum of five years designing for commercial printing

High proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

Must be detail oriented

Strong reading/proofreading skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft products a plus

Acceptable math skillsAcceptable knowledge of social media

Full-time Monday - Friday

Occasional overtime and weekends

Remote working is not allowed

Compensation is $ $30.00 per hour based on experience
