Summary

Prepare, examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to assist in preparing financial statements, give advice, or audit and evaluate statements prepared by others.

Install or advise on systems of recording costs or other financial and budgetary data.
Task Statement

  • Work directly with Sales Team to add, edit or update project maintenance data
  • Work directly with Corporate on setting up Customers and Vendor, to include maintenance tasks.
  • Monthly detailed General Ledger analysis in coordination with Corporate deadlines.
  • Prepare detailed reports on analytical findings.
  • Report to management about asset utilization and analysis results.
  • Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or noncompliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly general ledger account and bank reconciliations to include following up timely on reconciling items and other variances.
  • Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Prepare monthly journal and adjusting journal entries in line with required deadlines.
  • Examine inventory to verify and book monthly journal and ledger entries.
  • Examine revenue to verify and book monthly journal and ledger entries.
  • Report to Controller regarding the finances of establishment.
  • Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
  • Evaluate Sales and Use Tax liability in line with monthly payments and discounts in order to book necessary journal entries.
  • Work directly with Human Resources to gather and book monthly payroll journal entries and accruals.
  • Develop, maintain, or analyze forecasts and budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Review data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, or expenditures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
