- Ensure scheduled route plans are followed and report delays to manager / customer.
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Update dispatch system with trailer weights, BOL numbers, and arrival / departure times.
- Assist with planning and scheduling.
- Monitor driver performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Escalate issues to the proper department, including accidents and safety violations.
- Other office related duties as assigned.
- 0-2 years of trucking experience.
- 1-3 years of office experience.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and emails.
- Working knowledge of supply chain operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
