This role will be based out of our Beloit, WI location.

Responsibilities:
- Review all inventory management processes within your area of the business and evaluate potential improvements.
- Collaborate with other Inventory Controllers throughout the business to share best practices and harmonize procedures.
- Work directly with the Supply Chain Manager to build an annual cycle counting program that meets production needs and avoids the need for a physical inventory
- Inspect all incoming freight flagged as damaged to make a final determination. Coordinate directly with purchasing and accounting to properly account for damaged inbound material
- Correctly account and label defective material, to be accurately aligned with rebates.
- Adjust BOMS by request of supervisors or team leads. Accurately deallocating and allocating correct parts.
- Develop action plans to further reduce inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare and present quarterly inventory accuracy reports to management including the Production Manager and Supply Chain Manager. Reports should include known causes and suggestions for mitigation.
- Solicit feedback from Production and Purchasing to evaluate the impact of the cycle counting program on inventory accuracy and control
- Review back order and stalled order reports to identify and research stock outages affecting production.
Qualifications:
Other requirements include:
- Experience in managing inventory in a distribution or manufacturing setting
_preferred_**: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
