Description
The L2 is responsible for the packaging of molded and/or assembled components per company and customer specifications.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Follow all safety procedures, including the use of PPE as required.
  • Package, Label, and stack product on skids per Lot information and product specification.
  • Report any out of line conditions, damaged equipment to Supervisor or maintenance.
  • Retrieve packing material from warehouse.
  • Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to Health and Safety Requirements, GMP and standard work procedures, Continuous Improvement & ISO Standards,
  • Maintain clean workspace and 5S Standards in work area.
  • Operate packaging equipment as required per product specifications and/or work instructions.
  • Complete Packaging auxiliary equipment (TPM) Total Productive Maintenance activities as needed.
  • Follow instructions as required per ID sheets and visuals.
  • Maintain Lean initiatives and participate in lean projects.
  • Provide suggestions and take active role in Process Improvements to eliminate nonvalueadded activity.
  • Perform line clearances as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read/write/speak English.
  • Able to lift up to 55 lbs.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Works in a clean manufacturing warehouse environment that may include moderate noise levels.
