Job Title:
Shipping/Receiving


Report To:
Shipping Manager


Specific Functions to include but not limited to:

  • Preparing boxes for Butler, Dream, Bliss Packages
  • Unloading weekly shipment of 812 pallets
  • Reboxing, Restocking returned merchandise
  • Picking, weighing, packing, printing labels, placing them on cart & shipping all UPS orders on a daily basis
  • Receiving, unpacking, verifying, all items received
  • Transfer all merchandise received from X location to CCA location in system
  • Sorting, repacking, and restocking all incoming merchandise on a weekly basis
  • Verify that MS generators serial numbers match incoming shipment documentation
  • Ordering warehouse supplies including boxes, bags, warehouse cleaning supplies
  • Assists with walkin customers
  • Restocking warehouse
MRA's

  • Receives all merchandise returns
  • Opens and inspects all boxes and components
  • Determines routing and physically takes it to destination (bench or originator)
  • Processes credit in system
  • Repacks for restock or discards as needed

OTHER:

  • Take weekly cycle count of equipment: generators, controls, parts
  • Always keep warehouse clean
  • Maintain forklift log
  • Refill propane tanks

SKILLS:

  • Must be experience with forklift
  • Must be experienced with shipping systems
  • Must speak and write fluent English
  • Must know how to use basic tools
  • Packaging & assembling wooden frames

EQUIPMENT USED:

  • Forklift
  • Certified
  • Strapping Machine
  • Electric Saw
  • Staple Gun
  • Drills & drill press
  • Ladders
  • Other equipment as required with proper training

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • 8 HRS a day on feet
  • Lifting heavy objects up to 75LBS
