As a Glendale Colony team member, you will...
- Be responsible for the development and improvement of eMob systems for commercial vehicles
- Take charge of designing, planning, evaluating, and coordinating solution concepts, considering functional, manufacturing, and economic aspects
- Support simultaneous engineering processes with suppliers, internal production, and assembly
- Be responsible for the sizing and design of transmissions and their components, with a focus on housing and wheel sets
- Assist in building and maintaining parts lists in the PDM system
- Be responsible for supporting the procurement, evaluation, and approval of transmission components
- Manage the scheduling of various stages of development, from prototype to series production
- Support preventive quality techniques (FMEA, DFA, DFM, etc.)
- Collaborate with development project teams (internal, suppliers, and customers)
- Evaluate patents for potential impact and prepare objections
- Contribute to the creation of specifications for transmission and system components
- Coordinate and oversee internal and external design activities
