    Job Description


    • Must work in a confidential manner to ensure confidentiality of employee and project files.
    • Performs administrative duties and may assist in composing routine correspondence and coordinating activities.
    • Assists in filing, copying, scanning and faxing documents.
    • May answer telephone calls, take messages and transfer calls.
    • Checks quality of own work.
    • May assist in coordinating meeting arrangements and catering services for department functions.
    • May order project or department supplies and maintain supply cabinet.
    • Assists in distribution of incoming and outgoing documents.
    • Keeps abreast of project and department systems, services relevant to area of responsibility, and project process improvements, procedures, and practices.
    • Processes a variety of procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines.
    • May assist in data entry using project databases within assigned department.
    • Must be punctual and maintain a dependable level of attendance in accordance to project work rules.
    • Adheres to all safety procedures

    Workforce Training Instructor:

    • Responsible for the Skill Verification, Competent to Operate program (CTO), and training Craft Professionals.
    • Support of Craft Professional training program on the project.
    • Conduct NCCER Project specific training.
    • Ensure that the training and assessments programs are consistent with NCCER.
    • Provides training to all levels of helpers, journeymen, foreman and general foreman.
    • Responsible for Craft Competency Compliance to ES&H Core Processes and SWPP's.
    • Maintain good communication with the leaders of each trade associated with the project, to define needs and provide construction support with any specific training.
    • Support recruitment when needed by interviewing potential Crafts applying for jobs with technical questions to ensure we hire Craft Professionals with the desired experience.
    • Keep in mind and share with our Craft Professionals the Vision, Values and Commitments (VV&C) letter of our company.
    • Update all material for each trade when appropriate. This considers presentations, theoretical and practical test formats.
    11. field visits to assess and verify the progress of the skills taught in the training.

    • Demonstrable work experience with 10 years of experience in construction.
    • To perform this role satisfactorily, you must have excellent communication skills, writing and time management skills, participate in the set up and maintenance of training facilities.
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
    • Experience of one or more discipline skill sets (Mechanical, Piping, Structural, Rigging, Electrical etc.).
    • Ability to relate to Client, Management, Supervision, and teamwork.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable.
    • Supervision experience is desirable
    • Experience in formal or informal teaching/training/instruction is desirable.
