Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for patients efficiently
- Manage phone calls and inquiries related to scheduling
- Utilize medical software such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft for appointment booking
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling patient information
- Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize appointment scheduling
- Ability to interact with patients with a smile and integrity
- Work with patients and clinic staff to obtain health insurance verification and preauthorization information.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using various phone systems and medical scheduling software
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
