We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.


Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary:


  • Assists in providing materials management support for delivery operations. Evaluates and processes material requisitions and reservations, to ensure material and required documentation are available when needed. Analyzes material usage patterns for planned and stocked items, to ensure cost effective and adequate materials are available in a timely manner. Assists in resolving supply chain issues. Assists in planning and implementation of sourcing initiatives. Develops supplier and service network. Analyzes surplus and obsolete materials, and acts to minimize stocking levels.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience:2-3+ years related work experience.

  • Knowledge of materials management, procurement processes, and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of client groups, commodities, and specialties.
  • Knowledge of environmental, government, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of inventory analysis techniques.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic forecasting and trend analysis skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Value and cost analysis skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to process information quickly and accurately.
  • Organizational skills.

Education Requirements:

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
