Job Summary:
- Provide general support and assistance to administrators, teachers, and students using technology in the classroom. The technology includes software, hardware, and both district and external educational online resources.
- Provide and participate in ongoing professional development including research, networking and communication, development, training, best practice implementation, coaching, and management of program projects.
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholder groups to identify and organize professional development activities throughout the school district in the area of instructional technology.
- Serve as a liaison to building and district level administration, between technology liaisons, staff, tech services, and through building and district committees.
- Create productivity tools including elearning, collaboration tools, and database systems that access, manage, integrate and evaluate information.
- Assist schools in providing support for teachers, students and parents related to instructional technology, school communication and student learning.
- Identify, develop and report program related assessments for the purpose of directing student and teacher growth toward technology integration, technology literacy and technology use and to meet program goals and District guidelines.
- Coordinate and support technology needs for Institute Day programs, including participation in planning meetings, and facilitate support as needed throughout the day.
- Collaborate with Instructional Specialists, Professional Development Department, Tech Services, and other departments during formal and informal professional learning activities.
- Develop training materials/tutorials for commonly used and as needed programs/digital tools and provide instruction on these as needed throughout the year.
- Other duties as assigned.
Rate of pay:Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
