    Job Description

    We are in search of a dynamic Controls Project Engineer to join our cutting-edge Engineering team for the creation of controls for tailored machines, induction power supplies, and new product development projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Program, design, and specify control systems for moving and positioning parts for processing in our Induction Heating Systems.
    • Program, configure, and debug control systems involving PLCs, HMIs, computers, relays, servo drives, sensors, pneumatics, and more.
    • Develop control systems for new products.
    • Craft custom PLC/HMI software.
    • Independently manage projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
    • Guarantee top-notch electrical performance, safety, and reliability of our systems.
    • Conduct equipment testing on the integration floor, including power evaluations and installation/testing of PLC/HMI software.
    • Generate comprehensive support documentation, such as operator's and maintenance manuals.
    • Occasional travel to customer job sites may be required.

    Requirements:

    • BS in Electrical Engineering
    • 2 to 10 years of experience in designing and testing customized machines.
    • Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI specification/programming.
    • Familiarity with industry standards such as CSA, CE, UL, ANSI, NEC, ASME, etc. is advantageous.
    • Strong technical writing and oral communication skills are a must.
    • Previous experience in Robotics is a bonus.
