Rite-Solutions, Inc., is seeking a skilled and motivated QA/Test Engineer to support the development, configuration, and sustainment of various enterprise business software projects.

Position DescriptionThis position requires a Quality Assurance (QA)/Test Engineer with Software QA/Test experience.

Tasks include, but are not limited to, software testing and quality assurance for enterprise business applications including analysis of test requirements, development of test procedures, interface testing, maintenance of system requirement baselines and documentation, and support of engineering meetings.

This may also involve unit testing, software/system integration testing, and creation and maintenance of software and system documentation. This position is fully remote with optional access to an office depending on location.

RequirementsAssociate's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technology fieldTwo to five years of QA/Test experienceActively participate in a self-driven Agile Scrum team and all related ceremoniesDevelop, identify, and peer review requirements, test cases, and procedural documentationExecute test cases for automated, manual, regression, security, performance, and other applicable testingIdentify functional problems based on establish requirements and create clear bug reports for defects for validation once resolvedReview results to compile metrics and actions based on analysis of patternsMentor junior test engineersSelf-directed with ability to prioritize work independently and with a team to complete required taskingResponsive and responsible communication through technology with remote teammatesStrong problem solving, application testing, and debugging capabilitiesClear and concise written and verbal skillsPosition requires U.S.

Citizenship and active Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one) with the U.S. government.

Skills of InterestISTQB Foundation Level Certification or similar equivalentExperience with project management and testing tools such as Teams, Outlook, Jira, Confluence, Postman, Katalon, and ZephyrExperience with creating, running, and maintaining automated test suitesIdentifying and creating reports for metric analysis and process improvementFamiliarity with agile and/or scrum software development life cycle (SDLC) approachesKnowledge and experience with CMMI software development practices and procedures at Level 3 or greater Who are we?
