Objective
The Casting Production Manager is responsible for overall management of casting department, optimize output, maintain quality, and manage cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Production Management
- Managing Waxing and Casting team, reporting to Director of Production or General Manager.
- Ensure timely production delivery, quantity and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with Production Planner to utilize production capacity to serve demand at optimum level.
- Manage labor overtime required and overhead expenses effectively to achieve cost efficiency.
- Ensure team to follow production process SOP consistently.
- Resource allocation intra departmental to provide production flexibility during cyclical demand.
- Proactively discuss with direct superior on problem solving of operation and technical issue.
- Meet all KPI goals.
Process, Machine and Equipment
- Minimize production breakdowns through proper machine/equipment preventive maintenance program.
- Continually improve production process towards better quality, consistent output, and more efficient overhead.
- Keep up with manufacturing technique development.
Organization Development
& Leadership
- Support and participate in management initiatives to implement MVV and activities towards overall organization advancement.
- Manage organization development through cross training, job rotation, and leadership development.
- Provide directions to improve teamwork and cohesiveness between subordinates.
- Maintain and improve subordinate discipline.
Others
- Ensure chemicals, production waste, general waste are managed and comply with environmental policy and SOP.
- Ensure team comply to company regulation, RJC, ISO 14001, H&S and other regulation or management systems.
Professional Requirements
Requirement:
- Desirable 510 years experience in Jewelry production, with a proven and successful experience in managing a production unit.
- Knowledgeable in casting production process.
- Passionate about jewelry manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English speaking and writing is a must.
- Pleasant personality and good grooming.
- Computer literate.
- Willing to be based in Bali.
Pay:
$11, $12,500.00 per year
