Description
Responsible for the cleanliness and functionality of all church premises for services, meetings, and Preschool.

  • Performs custodial/janitorial functions to accomplish position objectives, including but not limited to the following:
  • Trash removal
  • Clean and maintain floors
  • Wash windows and clean blinds
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and mats
  • Shampoo carpets
  • Lemon oil pews
  • Dust and sweep all indoor areas
  • Clean kitchens and restrooms
  • Clean preschool classrooms
  • Identifies supply shortages and notifies supervisor of requirements
  • Sets up meeting rooms and other church facilities for daily events, providing coffee, as required
  • Assists with memorial services and special events
  • Cleans exterior common areas, including debris pickup, sweeping walks, courtyard, parking areas, and minor pruning
  • Performs security functions for facility opening and lockup in accordance with work schedule.

Qualifications:

  • This is an entry level position. Previous janitorial experience is desirable, but not mandatory.
  • A positive attitude and good interpersonal skills are a necessity.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills are necessary.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Company paid Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance required.

Pay:
$ $16.00 per hour
