Long-Term Care Housekeeping Opportunity

Bloomington Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is looking for an outstanding Housekeeping team member

Responsibilities of the Housekeeping :
As a Housekeeping team member, you will perform various cleaning and departmental functions in assigned resident and non-resident areas which include:

  • Perform general housekeeping duties such as: vacuum, clean bathrooms, kitchens and dusting of all surfaces
  • Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor
  • Perform waste removal
  • Collect soiled linen
  • Distribute linens
  • Move and set up furniture
  • Clean up spills
  • Maintain equipment, furniture, and supplies, to aid in cost control
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Dietary Manager:


  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 23 years experience in housekeeping operations
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
