Job Overview:
We are seeking an Auction Helper to join our team. As a Helper, you will assist with various tasks to support the smooth operation of our business. Tasks will include driving to pick-up or deliver valuables, cleaning, lifting, handling, measuring, and moving fine art and antiques. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have an appreciation for art and antiques.
Duties:
- Assist customers with their needs, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Lifting valuables that might be heavier or fragile
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, delivering and organizing consignments
- Provide support to other team members as needed
- Drive company vehicles for deliveries pickups or other businessrelated purposes
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math skills, including the ability to perform math calculations
- Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers is preferred
- Ability to lift and care for valuables (sometimes 100 pounds)
- Ability to drive and hold a valid driver's license
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional guest services
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a bonus
