The Role:


Crafty is seeking a General Manager to be the leader of the Bay Area Market and support strategic growth of Crafty across all emerging markets.

You will play the leading role in managing exceptionally high service delivery standards in the market you serve.

You will be responsible for supporting business growth, managing budgets, overseeing the supply chain, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety across all of our service offerings.

Crafty takes a market-centric approach to growth, and you will oversee the full market P&L.

You will be tasked with solidifying our place as the market leader across our emerging markets as we work to become the leading workplace food and beverage solution across the US.

You will have counterparts in other developed Crafty markets, and you will report directly to the COO. This role will work out our office or be in the field five days a week.


Core Responsibilities:


You are responsible for all post-sale components of market operations.

  • Serve as the leader and most senior decisionmaker in a given market, directly managing the local team (team consists of Client Operations and Fulfillment verticals)
  • Maintain market performance standards
  • Recruit, train and ultimately build out a worldclass team across various expertise and verticals within Client Operations and Fulfillment.
  • Provide indepth coaching/mentoring to midlevel managers that allows you to build a talent pipeline for the future growth of the market
  • Identify and implement plans for continual operational improvement in our Bay Area warehouse and across client sites
  • Own the Market's P&L management
  • Grow a powerful network of relationships with clients and strategic partners throughout the market
  • Oversee ongoing location health, including client escalations

Who You Are:


Your Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in operations, business development, or consulting.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team in, or closely related to, operations or business development.
  • Experience executing multiple shortterm and longterm projects across internal organizations.
  • A strong history of making strategic decisions based on mínimal available information.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
