    Description

    GREAT OPPORTUNITY IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

    Tayani Institute is a 25 year-old thriving ophthalmology group with offices in beautiful Orange County and North San Diego County. We are looking for an ophthalmologist to join our expanding ophthalmology group and great team of doctors primarily for our Brea location in North Orange County.

    The ideal candidate could be a comprehensive ophthalmologist but fellowship training in either Cornea or Glaucoma would be a plus. Additionally, we want:

    · Board certification or board eligibility

    · Preferably 5+ years of experience, but will consider new graduates as well

    · Comfortable with a busy environment

    · Familiar with electronic medical record system (we use NextGen)

    · Willing to travel between various office locations or be the main doctor/surgeon at our Brea location

    · Highly ethical ophthalmologist

    · Great personality, thorough, detail oriented, honest, driven, compassionate, computer-savvy -- these are just a few of the personality traits we are seeking.

    The practice currently has 6 ophthalmologists (oculoplastics, glaucoma, cornea, medical retina, pediatric and strabismus specialists) and 8 optometrists. We have our own ASC with the latest equipment and femtosecond laser. The practice currently has 6 full time locations with at least one doctor present at any given time, and an optical boutique in each office. In addition, there are 3 satellite locations. We have a large network of primary care and optometry referrals. Our patients are loyal and also refer to the practice. The practice is highly respected in the region, with consistent growth.

    The position is open at this time, and we would like to hire as soon as possible. Compensation structure is competitive and commensurate with the experience of the candidate. The new doctor will be taking hospital calls at two hospitals and practice calls will be shared as well. Ownership in the ASC is available as well.
