    Process/Mechanical EngineerA local Erie company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process/Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.

    As a Process/Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the head engineer, contributing to the design, review of drawings, troubleshooting processes, and ensuring the optimization of process efficiency.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, a solid understanding of ASME processes, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.


    ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Head Engineer:
    Work closely with the head engineer to contribute to the overall design process and provide valuable input to engineering projects

    Design Oversight:
    Review and analyze design drawings to ensure accuracy, compliance with standards, and feasibility of implementation

    Troubleshooting:
    Identify and address any mechanical or process-related issues that may arise during the design or implementation phase

    Process Optimization:
    Maximize process efficiency by assessing current processes and proposing improvements or modifications to enhance overall performance

    Drafting:
    Utilize drafting skills to create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and plans, ensuring precision and clarity in documentation

    Compliance with ASME Processes:
    Demonstrate a thorough understanding of ASME processes and ensure that all engineering designs and processes comply with relevant standards and regulations

    Continuous Improvement:
    Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to propose and implement continuous improvements in engineering processes

    Collaboration:
    Foster effective communication and collaboration within the engineering team and across departments to ensure seamless project execution

    Qualifications and SkillsEducation:
    Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, with a focus on process or mechanical engineering

    Experience:
    Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, with a strong emphasis on drafting and design oversight

    ASME Knowledge:
    Familiarity with ASME processes and standards

    Analytical Skills:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex engineering processes

    Communication:
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

    Team Player:
    A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
    Benefits/CompensationFull-timePay Rate is $52k-$72k per year.
